Sinopsis corta:

Javier es sordociego pero está dispuesto a vivir la aventura y subir a lo mas alto para cumplir su sueño: Abrazar las estrellas.

Sinopsis larga:

Javier García Pajares es conocido por ser el primer alumno sordociego en disfrutar de una beca Erasmus. Gracias a ello, comenzó a convertirse en un ejemplo de superación y referente en el entorno de la discapacidad. No conforme con ello, años después se lanzó a la aventura de conseguir el reto de alcanzar picos de montañas cada vez más exigentes y experimentar nuevos deportes de aventura de la mano de su psicólogo y amigo José Antonio García. En este documental acompañamos a Javier en una nueva aventura mientras conocemos su historia de superación y se reafirma como un referente para muchos.

Short synopsis:

Javier is deaf-blind but he is willing to live the adventure and climb to the top to fulfill his dream: to embrace the stars.

Long synopsis:

Javier García Pajares is known for being the first deaf-blind student to enjoy an Erasmus scholarship. Thanks to this, he began to become an example of self-improvement and a reference in the field of disability. Not satisfied with this, years later he launched into the adventure of achieving the challenge of reaching increasingly demanding mountain peaks and experiencing new adventure sports at the hands of his psychologist and friend José Antonio García. In this documentary we accompany Javier in a new adventure while we learn about his story of overcoming and he reaffirms himself as a reference for many.

Christopher Sánchez y Mario Cervantes co-dirigen una productora audiovisual donde han realizado varios documentales con tinte social, destacando especialmente “Dundu (2018)” con el que han conseguido 5 premios y 18 nominaciones en festivales de cine nacionales e internacionales. Su último trabajo documental se centra en la vida de superación de Javier García Pajares es conocido por ser el primer alumno sordociego en disfrutar de una beca Erasmus: "Abrazar las estrellas" (2020)
