Manolín es uno de esos personajes casi mitológicos ligados a la arena, al fuego, al mar y al aire, de tradición familiar marenga volcada desde hace décadas en la hostelería. Un hombre criado en el arenal que no estaba destinado a ser amoragaor. Nuestro documental quiere ser un llamado al reconocimiento y puesta en valor de la mejor tradición gastronómica-turística de nuestra costa, el espeto, personificado en su maestro de ceremonias.

Manolín is one of those almost mythological characters linked to the sand, the fire, the sea and the air, with a seafaring family tradition that has been involved in the hotel and catering business for decades. A man raised on the sandy beach who was not destined to be an amoragaor (sardine roaster). Our documentary wants to be a call to the recognition and enhancement of the best gastronomic-tourist tradition of our coast, the espeto (roast sardines), personified in its master of ceremonies.

Málaga, 1991. Comienza sus primeras andaduras en el cine con el Máster en Cinematografía en la Escuela de Cine y Sonido SchoolTraining. Su primer trabajo, Enjoy, recorre varios países siendo nominado y premiado hasta alcanzar su selección más importante en una de las secciones especiales del prestigioso Festival de Cannes. Su segundo trabajo, Elly, está recorriendo festivales y cuenta ya con cuatro selecciones, entre ellas, uno de los festivales de terror más importantes de Brasil. Con el cortometraje Todo va bien, ha ganado 10 premios nacionales e internacionales haciéndose, hasta el momento, con 35 selecciones oficiales. Entre ellos, nominado a mejor cortometraje de ficción en la tercera edición de los Premios Carmen 2024.

Málaga, 1991. He began his first journeys in cinema with the Master in Cinematography at the SchoolTraining School of Film and Sound. His first work, Enjoy, toured several countries, being nominated and awarded until reaching its most important selection in one of the special sections of the prestigious Cannes Festival. Her second work, Elly, is touring festivals and already has four selections, including one of the most important horror festivals in Brazil. With the short film Todo va bien, he has won 10 national and international awards, earning, to date, 35 official selections. Among them, nominated for best fiction short film in the third edition of the Carmen Awards 2024.
