ESPAÑOL

Mariel Giraldo (Caracas, 1985). A la edad de 16 años se traslada a Málaga, España. Titulada como Técnico Superior en Imagen, especializándose en realización y edición tanto en fotografía de estudio como de evento social, Licenciada en Comunicación Audiovisual en la Universidad de Málaga y posteriormente Técnico de Iluminación en LOASUR Audiovisual, desempeña la labor de directora de fotografía en numerosos proyectos, además de ejercer como operadora de cámara, y producción en cortometrajes, documentales y videoclips. Actualmente distribuye su primer cortometraje como directora: Frenzy of exultations (2014).

Mariel Giraldo (Caracas, 1985). She moved to Spain at the age of 16, and began her incursion into the audiovisual sector. She got a Certificate of Higher Education, a Photography and Lighting Degree, specializing both in taking and editing studio and event photography. She has also got a Degree in Audiovisual Communication by the University of Málaga, followed by a degree in Lighting Technician in Loasur Audiovisual. She has worked as Director of Photography in several short films, documentaries and music videos. She is currently distributing her first work as director, an experimental short film called “Frenzy of Exultations” (2014).
