This is a journey back to Ithaca, to that place where we were happy and where we learned that the journey is more important than the destination. However, someone once said that you should not try to return to the place where you were happy.

Laura Pérez Gómez es guionista y directora. Nacida en Valencia en 1986, Laura ha escrito y dirigido varios cortometrajes y spots publicitarios, así como ha participado en otros proyectos en tareas de producción y dirección. 'La voz queda‘ (2022) es su primer corto documental y fue seleccionado en numerosos festivales y nominado a los 5º Premios Berlanga. Actualmente está desarrollando su primer largometraje documental, ‘Un dibujante en La Habana‘, y su ópera prima de ficción, 'Especies distintas'. En breve iniciará el rodaje de su siguiente cortometraje de ficción, ‘A cierta distancia. Ahora
presenta su cortometraje Found Footage y diario documental titulado ‘Καλό ταξίδι’ (Buen viaje) (2025).

Laura Pérez Gómez is a screenwriter and director. Born in Valencia in 1986, Laura has written and directed several short films and commercials, as well as participated in other projects as a producer and assistant director. La voz queda' (2022) is her first documentary short film, selected in many film festivals and nominated for the 5th Berlanga Awards. She is currently developing her first feature-length documentary, ‘Un dibujante en La Habana’, and her fiction opera prima, ‘Especies distintas’.
