Manuel Bartual (Valencia, 1979) es dibujante y diseñador gráfico. Escribe y dibuja el webcómic ¡Escucha esto! y la serie Sexorama, que publica en España (El Jueves), Francia (Fluide Glamour) e Italia (Linus). Dirigió la revista de historietas El Manglar y el magazine online de cultura visual NOMAGAZINE. En el campo del diseño ha trabajado para El País, Santillana, Astiberri, Sins Entido, Dibbuks y Es Pop, entre otras. Su último proyecto es ¡Caramba!, una editorial independiente especializada en cómic de humor que ha puesto en marcha desde Madrid junto con Alba Diethlem. ‘85.12.30’ (finalista en la décima edición de NotodoFilmFest) y ‘Tengo que matar a María’, rodados ambos en 2012, son sus primeros cortometrajes escritos y dirigidos en solitario.

Manuel Bartual (Spain, 1979) is a cartoonist and a graphic designer. He’s the author of the webcomic Listen Now! and the running feature Sexorama, currently being published in Spain (El Jueves), France (Fluide Glamour) and Italy (Linus). He’s been also editor in chief for the comics magazine El Manglar and a visual culture online magazine called NOMAGAZINE. As a designer, he has worked for clients such as El País, Santillana, Astiberri, Sins Entido, Dibbuks and Es Pop Ediciones, among others. His last project is ¡Caramba!, an independent publishing house mainly focused on humor comics, based in Madrid and co-founded with Alba Diethlem.  ‘85.12.30’ (finalist at the 10th edition of NotodoFilmFest) and ‘I’ve got to kill María’, both shot in 2012, are his first short films written and directed on his own.
